Our C.E.O. was contacted in June by Logan Doucet, the reigning Mrs. Louisiana, and asked if JohnPac would supply “goody” bags for the national contestants
in the Mrs. United States pageant, which was to be held in Orlando, July 2nd-July 8th. Of course, we said, “Yes!”
We immediately thought our Small Bag Initiative marketing piece, we are currently mailing to customers, would be ideal. Our marketing piece is a map of
the USA, and each state is represented by a bag we manufacture. The map also declares we are a Proud American Manufacturer.
Our production and design co-workers elected to print the poster image on white woven polypropylene fabric and transform it into goody bags with handles. The
the result was a cool bag, depicting the fifty states that each contestant could use to carry all their goodies from the pageant.
The icing on the cake was that our Mrs. Louisiana, Logan, came in the second runner up in the Mrs. United States national pageant. So a little bit of Louisiana had a national
spotlight shined upon it for the week!
